The project
Biological treatment and refining plant for municipal solid waste, built for FCC Medioambiente in Jerez de la Frontera. With a capacity of 800 tonnes per day, 200,000 tonnes/year, the plant is among the most recent in SORAIN TECHNO's portfolio in Spain. The system combines mechanical pre-sorting treatment, bio-oxidation in automated Biomax-G® reactors and refining of the treated material for material recovery and production of SOM (Stabilised Organic Matter) compliant with European regulations. SORAIN TECHNO supplied the complete solution, including design, construction, commissioning and technology transfer to the operator.
