Sydney - Eastern Creek

The project

Refurbishment and capacity upgrade of the OFMSW biological treatment line at the Eastern Creek plant, west of Sydney. The project expanded the existing capacity to 600 tonnes per day, 220,000 tonnes/year, of source-separated organic municipal waste. SORAIN TECHNO designed and carried out the complete revamping of the Biomax-G® bioreactors, the exhaust air extraction and treatment system, and the new process-management SCADA. The Eastern Creek plant is SORAIN's second installation in Australia after the one built in 2004, confirming the strength of the relationship with the GRL–Cleanaway Group.
