The project

Composting plant for OFMSW digestate, part of the Valdemingómez plant complex, the largest waste management hub in the Madrid metropolitan area. The plant treats 264 tonnes per day, equal to 82,490 tonnes/year, of digestate produced by anaerobic digestion of the organic fraction. SORAIN TECHNO's Biomax-G® system ensures accelerated biological maturation of the digestate in closed, continuous-cycle reactors, with a biofiltration system for treating odour emissions and production of stable organic soil improver for agricultural recovery in the Community of Madrid.
